Dodger smiled at Isyph's reaction to his words. He always knew he was heading in the right direction with his female marks when they were blushing. When Isyph introduced herself, Dodger took the hand that he had been offered and shook it in a friendly manner. Dodger didn't want to come on to strongly with the flirting and risk being seen as somebody who was simply trying to spend a night in her company before leaving her to wake up alone and possibly poorer for the experience. And on top of that, Dodger always prioritised making the most money off of his marks before anything else. Needless to say, it was slightly harder for Dodger to keep his priorities straight around female marks.

With those words said, Dodger had baited the hook and cast the line. So long as Isyph got a bright idea from Dodger's words and wasn't smart enough to know bait when she saw it, the game was afoot and Dodger could take the 1st steps to getting an Irregulars Guild Scheme up and running.

An Irregulars Guild Scheme was a confidence trick pulled on gullible marks that couldn't get into guilds during Guild Enlistment Drives. The Confidence Trickster would start by manipulating The Mark into setting up a Guild that took in anyone who was ready and willing, with The Confidence Trickster then manipulating his way into a spot in the guild high enough for The Confidence Trickster to reach the vault easily. Once the Guild was established, The Confidence Trickster would then skim coin off the Guild's income while it still lived. Then, when the Guild began to decline, The Confidence Trickster would take as much gold as they could and run, optionally leaving behind a box of chocolates and an insulting note. Such a scheme was what Dodger was now planning to use with Isyph as the unsuspecting mark.
