"And what a relief that is," she added with somewhat of a sour tone. Jennifer could be around "that guy" for an hour or two at most, but a couple of days? It was more than enough to drive her crazy. She walked towards Vin before Nate so kindly ordered everyone to go back inside the mineshaft. 

"You know what'd be nice right about now?" Jennifer whispered to Vin, "If there was actually some sort of killer beast in there who had an appetite for egotistical golden boys. I wouldn't miss him at all, especially if we're left with one of the nice clones, you know, the one I actually like." 

Jennifer grabbed Vin's hand and pulled him towards the entrance to the mineshaft. "Come on, let's get inside before sergeant wise-ass has the chance to gross out someone else.
