Rosa
Rosa stared at the floating unknow for a short while as it held the bag prepared to her. It was such an interesting pokemon to the young woman who had never seen a pokemon like it. Sure, she had seen gastly and haunter, yamask and litwick, and even a phantump on her way there, but she had never seen anything similar to an unknown except in books. Yet, it wasn’t like the one she had seen exactly in the book, it was a different shape. Such wonder filled her mind and eyes as she smiled at it, setting down the little pokemon she held in her arms to accept the bag. ”Thank you, little deary,” Rosa muttered as she slipped the bag over her shoulder and kneeling down to pet the top of her spheal’s head. Her fur was so soft to the young girl, bringing back memories of her adventures in the orange islands and the feeling of the fur of mankeys and snorlax which inhabited some of the forests she ran free in. Her attention snapped back to the professor at the mention of their assignment, to visit Snowbell city and investigate Route 20 for reports of anything unusual. She had heard of the town, home to the gym leader of the region’s ice type gym, Wulfric, and one of the few areas in Kalos that was actually cold. Rosa took a quick look at her pack containing a few changes of clothes yet certainly nothing that’d be fitting for use in the cold weather. ”Heh, I guess I will have to stop at the boutique when we get to Santalune. I uh, have never battled before. Well, never battled but I watched my brothers battle once or twice and they told me everything they knew about battling. I guess I’m a bit behind everybody else then,” She said in a solemn and soft voice as she looked at her spheal. She didn’t know how much she was prepared for battle, let alone with a pokemon which had an obvious abundance of trust in herself and her trainer. ”A-aren’t we also suppose to name our new pokemon? I thought that was something we did, right? My brothers and mother say it makes the bond stronger between trainer and pokemon.” She chimed in a light hearted tone as her spheal gently nibbled on her fingers.
