Shiranui scanned Deoxys as he had never seen such a Pokémon before.  "[i]Deoxys, the DNA Pokémon.  Deoxys emerged from a virus that came from space.  It is highly intelligent and wields psychokinetic powers.  This Pokémon shoots lasers from the crystalline organ on its chest.[/i]"
"No way!" exclaimed Shiranui, "I'm battling a real extra-terrestrial alien!"  He set his mind back on the task as Deoxys conjured a Shadow Ball.  "Kakureru, Wish!"  The Latias was blasted with Deoxys' Shadow Ball and got more damage than Grimm's Shadow Ball.  Kakureru made a wish that would take effect later on.
