Name: Fafnir Sigurd, Dragonmancer Appearance:

Race: Draconic Human (Human augumented by dragon's blood.) Class: Knight, Druid (Dragonmancer) Current Equipment: -A long poled spear. The blade of the spear is made of steel and it is augumented to be especially heat resistant, and can channel heat through its shaft and into the blade. -An iron-reinforced leather armor and tunic. -A set of iron-clad knight armor he stole, as well as an iron short sword. Background: Fafnir was born into a cult of dragon worshippers, bearing the nicknaming 'hellfire apostles'. It was their center belief that the only way humans can achieve perfection is to become dragons. They belief in a dragon deity named Kilgarrah, who they claim is the god of all dragons, and will either use wild dragons or build statues and other monuments to figure head their religion. Whether it be a living dragon or a simple object, they will often perform sacrifices, both of humans and beasts, to appear their dragonlord. Offerings such as living victims, gold, and the dragonsbane herb, are offered in a bonfire, and if they have the chance, they will appease their dragons with feeding them live sacrifices. Live dragons are either wild dragons that have adapted to being fed by these delusional mortals, or weaker ones are often captures and held in dungeons, showered with treasures and meat to suffice the beast. Inbetween their religious ceremonies and sacrifices, they did hold one truth amidst their madness, and that was the power of dragons. They have written a spellbook in draconic that lists many different spells or 'facts' about kilgarrah. Fafnir was percieved as the prodigy child upon birth, due to him being born of the cult's leaders. Showering him with appraisal inbetween the abusive rituals he was forced to partake with, carving runes in his skin, and forced into such horrendous sacrifices, Fafnir was further raised upon the many spells and magics of the dragon worshiping cult. He was said to be of the cult's 'dragonmancers' those that are chosen by Kilgarrah to obtain the full powers of a dragon. In order to become a dragonmancer, one must first let the blood of a dragon's seep through the runes carved in the flesh by the cult, then they must drink that blood afterwards. Though Fafnir would be the first and last of this title. At the age of 18, Fafnir looked upon their imprisoned dragon, Fenrir. Though this dragon couldn't speak, Fafnir knew it wanted to escape, he saw what the other cultists didn't, and that was how absurd their faith was. Fafnir had no emotional connection to the cult, they had never raised him to feel such a connection of family. He decided at that day, that he didn't need some cult to achieve perfection. He used what powers he had been granted too in order to exterminate the cult, freed Fenrir who he ascended into one of his spirit dragons, and sent fourth on a quest to meet his own goals. Upon his journey, he would bond with a select few other dragons, pillage villages and travelling caravans for treasures, and fashion himself his spear and armor. Honing his powers further without the guidelines of a book. It is his goal to become the ultimate force that there is, and to bring dragons for their rare and endangered state into a plague that forces all creatures, monsters and humans, into submission at the lower end of the food chain. For now though, since he doesn't wish to provoke other monsters that may be stronger then his current state, let alone overwhelm him, he plays along to help them against the human forces until he is ready to claim dominion over the world. Powers:
He can lift up to 10 tons on his own in terms of strength, sprint as fast as a wolf with great endurance, and can tolerate pain extensively well. His eyes also glow in the dark like dim candles.

Like all dragons, Fafnir has an affinity towards flames. He cannot be burned by any means, be it blasted by an explosion, submerged in molten rock, or blasted by plasma energy, no part of his body, inside or out, will be burned or damaged by heat alone. While he cannot receive chemical burns, powerful acids and bases can still erode or chemically break down his body. He can channel flames from out of his body by through more of a supernatural biology rather then simply magic. He can only create flames by using his body as its source, but he can breathe flames, shoot fireballs, ignite his body on fire, etc. Currently he can create flames hot enough to melt iron, and can shoot fireballs with the explosive force of a frag grenade.

Unlike his fire ability, Evocation of dragon spells is magic.
He can let out a terible roar or shout of destructive volume. Intense sound waves and raw air pressure spreads around him in a 15m radius as a result.

He can morph his skin into the scales of a dragon. The scales are green and plated, and are as durable as steel.

He can grow a pair of leathery wings along his back, allowing flight.

His punch, kick, or stomp can create a massive shockwave of pressure upon casting this spell. It can send a small shockwave around him along a ground surface, or launch enemies back with great and powerful force.

He can shoot a bolt of electricity from his arm, which expands and takes form of a massive serpentine dragon. The electricity is colored of black and red light, and can inflict great force and heat in addition to a powerful voltage shock.

With the souls of his spirit dragons, Fafnir can become protected by serpentines, ghastly spirits of his bonded dragons. The spell becomes stronger with each dragon he bonds with. Based upon how many dragons he has, each bonded dragon is represented as a spirit of a serpentine form. In this form, they can coil and surround Fafnir, shielding him from both physical and energy based attacks, they can also be used offensively, launching towards opponents and rushing towards them. They can be damaged by anything that could physically touch or hurt ghosts, as well as magic energy.

He can summon dragons he has ascended with his magic into his personal spirit dragons. These dragons are eternally bound to Fafnir until death. Once summoned, if they die they can be re summoned after a year's worth of recovery. He can only summon a single dragon at a time.
Classification: Dragon, drake subgroup, species Megalania Dracolupas Weighing about 1,3016 pounds, Fenrir is 23 feet in length (10 feet from head to back, and another 13 feet from back to the tip of his tail), and will typically stand 6 feet in height, although on the occasion when he stands on his hind feet that height differs obviously. He is clad in forest-green, plated scales that are as durable as iron, with three toed claws and canine-like legs, and a moderately long tail. He has a sharp row of scuted plates along his back to the tip of his tail, and a sharp row of spines running along his chest. His narrow, saurian head possesses a pair of horns and two reptilian eyes that gleam a faint yellow light in darkness. Skills: Nightvision His glowing eyes can allow great viability even in the darkness of night. Tracker Fenrir has an excellent sense of smell, especially with his forked tongue, so much so that he can rival a blood hound's tracking skills. Bio-armor With scales as strong as iron it is difficult to damage the dragon. Firebreather Like many dragons Fenrir can breathe a jet of flames from his mouth. His breathe weapon can shoot flames either in a straight cone with a 20 feet reach, or a 10 feet spread of fire. Trusty mount He is loyal-for-life to Fafnir, and is a well sported mount. All-Terrain Fenrir can sprint up to 55 mph with good distance, and can maneuver over rough terrain easily and can even climb to some extent, while he can't dive well he can still swim fairly well on his own. Stealthy Hunter Again, like a wolf, he can be surprisingly very stealthy and quiet when he wants too, moving silently along the ground and stalking prey with ease due to his nature. Ferocious He'll eat just about anything, living or dead given the chance, with the exception of plants. This tends to be a problem when going into town that is ripe with a human population that the beast will see as food, and will gladly sneak a bite while Fafnir isn't looking. Fireproof Like every other typical lesser dragon, it is impossible to harm him with fire and heat. Old but Young Dragons are notorious for their seemingly indefinite natural longevity, Fenrir is no exception as he is already 300 years old and has served under two masters before Fafnir, making the beast well experienced. Faithful Companion He will never leave Fafnir's side, to the point where he would give his own life for his beloved master. Stopping Power Its no surprise that the dragon is incredibly strong, whether it is tearing another monster apart or ramming its horns full speed into an unlucky prey item. Foul mouth His bite is somewhat lethal, not just in how sharp the teeth are or in how powerful his bone-crushing jaws are. His canines are laced with a weak but interesting venom that prevents blood from clotting, and causes fatigue in its victim. While even minor wounds can lead to fatal blood loss, the venom itself is easy to combat. A healthy immune system alone could knock it off within a day's rest, and the wounds can be treated with bandages to stop the bleeding. Symptons of the venom increase over time while the victim is awake, however, in addition to growing increasingly weary and unable to naturally stop blood from flowing from wounds, a victim that stays conscience for more then 5 minutes will start to feel an intense burning pain, followed by blurry vision and hearing, prone to vomiting, and becoming drained of endurance. The venom also can make the wounds become infected should they go untreated within a day. Weaknesses -His underbelly is not as hard as the rest of his scales, and can be vulnerable to cut or stab. Being cold blood it is difficult for Fenrir to survive in cold climates, ice being a tactical weakness. -Dragonsbane can repel or deter almost any dragon of Kilgarrah's origin, as they cannot stand the mere scent of the plant. Fortunately it is a rare herb that only grows in certain mountain peaks of Drake Valley.
