[i]A line crossed for both parties[/i]

Jaden nodded apreciatively at Alexis' introduction, though was confused slightly about her not asking about the name or dress. Her name seemed fine to him, and her dress was really quite lovely. Before he could say anything in response, however, Vix was quick to introduce her self with a bow . . . then immediately started burning bridges by making a bunch of rude comments towards the girl's Pokemon. Her apologetic look might've held some weight if she had stopped at one, but at three it was obvious that Vix had a serious problem with manners. Her outright rudeness caused Jaden to put his face in his hands, feeling extremely frustrated with her at the moment. Again, he opened his mouth, intending to apologize, when the woman responded in an equally rude manner. And while he didn't like her uncouth choice of words, he did understand why she'd be less than pleasant with them.

Then she threatened Vix.

The change that came over Jaden was  subtle, simikar in a way to how he acted with his uncle. A mask of politeness would fall into place, hiding a majority of what he was really feeling. Looking at hus features, it'd be hard to tell anything was wrong. But looking into his eyes, one woukd find very little of the warmth that had been there mere moments prior. Instead, all that was present was a cold sterness that could be rather jarring to anyone not expecting it.

He waited paitiently for Alexis to finish whispering to her Pokemon, a Honedge if he remembered correctly, and once all was said and done, he'd speak his piece.

[color=Ivory]"Miss Ghost, whike I do humbly apologize for Vix's attitude, and will try my best to fix that in the future, believe me . . . I'd much appreciate it if you wouldn't talk about her in such a manner again, or put more plainly to ensure no confusion, don't threaten her [b]ever[/b] again."[/color] Jaden would put a good amount of emphasis and steel in the last bit, looking Alexis dead-on in her eyes as he did so. [color=Ivory][i]"Do so again, Pokecenter or no pokecenter, there will be trouble between the two of us. While Vix was very rude to Shadow here, I believe you have made the larger social error here. My advice to you, madam, is to watch your own words before you tell others to do the same. Now, if you'll excuse me."[/I][/color]

Jaden would goive a short bow to Alexis then begin heading down the route, giving Vix a slight nudge with his hand to indicate that she should follow him, saying nothing more to either Shadow or his trainee as he madehis way forward. However, before his partner could get to comfortable, Jaden would speak to her directly.

[color=Ivory]"As soon as we get you some better clothes in Viridian, you better prepare yourself. Don't think I'll forget about your completely intolerable behavior. *sigh*  . . . we'll really have to work on that."[/color] Jaden's stern tone faded away as he walked away from the other two, the exasperation from early quickly taking it's place. [color=Ivory][i]I never imagined that my first partner would have such a major attitude problem. But how am I supposed to reign that in when she seems so stubbornly insistent about it, if that earlier display was anything to go by. . . *sigh* She wasn't kidding when she said she'd be difficult.[/i][/color]

[color=Darkorchid]Noibat -Somewhere in the forest[/color]

[i]There's mischief to be made[/i]

As Zorua walked towards the town, a small shape would zip up to him, then swoop up into the air above, all that could be processed would be a light pink-ish purple fur. Immediately after that would be a flash of light, followed by a small figure rapidly descending upon him from above, accompanied by a rather loud, if joyful, cry.

[color=Darkorchid]"ZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!"[/color] 

And so Noibat would enter the scene, dressed in her usual get-up of a somewhat raggedy tube top and short-shorts. If Zorua was unable to get out of the way fast enough, then then two of them would both go down in a tumble, resulting in Noibat laying directly in top of him, elbows placed on either side of his head as she looked down with bright golden eyes abd a smile, head in hands, legs swinging back forth in the air somewhat leisurely, as if she was just reclining in a couch instead of a person. 

[color=Darkorchid] So, whatcha doin' Z? You're all dressed up like you're fixin' to go to town and all that, thinkin' of messin' with those squares, or is this a treat run? Either way, I want in, and I'm not gettin' off ya 'till ya let me.[/color]

To further emphasize this point, she would wrap her arms around his neck, rubbungnher cheek against his as she did so, a mischievous twinkle never leaving her eyes.

[color=Darkorchid]"We can do this the easy way or the hard way, it's all up ta you. I could stay like this all day if I have ta, and ya know I mean that."[/color]
