Alright, here's a quick idea. I'll accept the luck of the draw, though I would like her to be of a rank that would put her in a position to interact with the bridge crew and/or go on landing parties. Not my own picture) Height: 5'6" Weight: 110.2 lbs Hair Color: Glossy Black Hair Style: Pixie Cut Tattoos/scars: None Personality Typical of one who follows the writings of Surak, T'Plior attempts to always be logical and never let emotions get in her way. Therefore, illogical situations can throw her for a loop, making it so that she prefers working to socializing with the crew. She battles with herself her tendency to obsesses over her patients' lives. She recognizes mentally that death is a natural part of life and that she can't save every patient. But she wants to be sure that she did everything that could be done to save them. For every time a patient dies, she struggles with the feeling of self-loathing for failing to save a life and a self-questioning about what else she could have done. Always, she buries the emotion and never lets it fully resolve so that she'll continue on. This inner conflict causes her to do anything to save those under her care, her own life would be meaningless if it could save a life under her protection. She also has a real curiosity about the universe, one of the reasons she joined Starfleet and an accepted response to the world under Surak's teachings. Once her curiosity is awakened, she'll either ask directly about it or find any information she can about the topic. One of her favorite topics is genetics, though new races, new technology, and space phenomenon are at the top of the list. Short List Positive Traits

Loyal
Calm-headed
Curious
Hard Worker
Negative Traits

Struggles against Self-Loathing
No Social Skills
Excessively Loyal
Brutally Honest
History Born and raised on Vulcan, T'Plior had a verily normal Vulcan childhood though she showed great aptitude in science and mathematics throughout her elementary and high school years. She found biology especially fascinating and looked at the future career routes that would allow her to focus on its study. She was also interested in exploration of the stars and so she looked into Starfleet Academy, where she eventually settled on the medical field since it allowed a logical use for biology and obeyed the call of Surak to value all life as sacred. Her parents accepted the logic of her choice and she left with their blessing. Once there, she quickly realized that the school system founded by humans was fundamentally different from a vulcan school system. She adjusted as well as she could, carefully scheduling her time between classes, homework, meditation/sleep, and eating. She got to know some fellow cadets whose schedules coincided with her own and even studied with them in order to help them and get fresh insights if she didn't understand something herself. In that way, she survived university and received her medical license and a commision aboard the USS Constellation. On board that ship, she received her first on-duty experience and experienced her first patient death. It was a security man who had been beamed up severely from a failed landing mission where the party had teleported into a war zone. Yet he died on the table, a patient under her care. She was completely numb afterwards, doing her duties exceptionally but mechanically. All the while, she wondered if she left anything undone she could have done. Her task was to prevent unnecessary death. Why had she failed? In meditation after her shift, she recognized that the emotion distracted her from her duty and suppressed the emotion. But the ringings of that emotion would have ripple effects, making her extremely loyal to her patients and going above and beyond the call of duty to save their lives. Every failure brought a recurrence of the emotion of the first death and were also suppressed as the first one had been. StarFleet eventually promoted her to Chief Medical Officer and assigned her to the USS Tricyion for the ship's maiden voyage. Abilities Strengths 1.
