You are in theory allowed to contribute as much stuff as you'd like be it companies, cities, generic and historical mechs, rules for the tournament, whatever. I'll need to approve them on a case by case basis, but I don't think that'll be too much of a problem. That said if you are looking for a company for Dominic to have run off to Kell Hounds may be an option in the likely case that I accept Sophrus' character. Speaking of the Kell Hounds though...
