Get used to being around people again? Ava pondered to herself in her head, the idea of being around people again made her nervous, she figured at some point in her life, she would need to get readjusted to people, but she spent so much of her time alone and only interacting with those she already knew, she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to handle something like that. “Right, well I’ll certainly try, but I can’t really promise anything.” Ava responded with a nervous chuckle, it had been a few decades since she had really been around people and the idea of interacting with them worried her some, mostly due to the fact that she felt she would be an awkward mess, which only stressed her out further. When they arrived at the next town, Ava could already feel her heart race a little, both from the people and the mark on her forearm which caused her to bring her arm to her stomach and pressed against it, she didn’t know how people would react to her mark if they saw it and didn’t want their first trip there to be one where they were already in trouble. She moved a little closer to Terrin, her shyness getting the better of her at the moment because of all the people in town, “I forgot there were so many people in towns like these.” She said to her new travel companion, taking in the sights of the town. Some of the towns folk were hanging paper lanterns which made her think there might be some kind of festival that would be happening soon, various shop keeps were promoting their products and services, no doubt trying to make a few extra sales before whatever event was happening took place. Ava gazed at the decorations, admiring how nice they looked on the town, not to mention the people seemed to be fairly friendly, perhaps her venturing out of her comfort zone wouldn’t be so bad, at the very least, this journey might help get rid of her shyness and she didn’t mind that.
