[b]Personality[/b]:
Cain is an inspiration among troopers and commandos alike for his steadfast courage and indomitable spirit while in a firefight. Outside of the battlefield, he is headstrong and willing to defy orders if they endanger his and his men's lives for nothing. Ever the man to put himself in harm's way before his commandos, he is known to rush enemy strongholds on his own and return with blaster scars on his armor instead of their own. This lack of worrying about himself, causes his commandos to have a die-hard commitment to him and are willing to lay their lives down for him as he is for them. His recklessness however, has caused discomfort within the inner circles of his commanders for which he has been reprimanded countless times. Although he isn't a spiritual man, he feels there is something out there similar to what the Jedi call the "Force." Perhaps that would explain why he believes he hears voices in his head from time to time.

[b]History[/b]:
Cain Sunstrider's past on Corellia is shrouded by the mystique that makes the man who he is today. Only few have been granted access to his confidential files within Republic military archives. After cross-referencing with different databases and decoding several layers of encryption, personnel will learn he is related to some of the most powerful families on Corellia. Connections to the various manufacturing and trading companies, it comes as a surprise that he would choose the life of a soldier as opposed to a young businessman with a bright future. But somewhere in his "silver spoon" upbringing, he decided he wanted adventure in his life and enlisted in the Republic's Army. Although this was a peace time military, he received no treatment that would benefit a rich child of shipping monarchies. Proving himself a natural leader and willing to do what was needed to protect his fellow soldiers, he was highly commended for his time by his instructors. 

After his training was complete, the young private was stationed aboard a battle frigate in the Inner colonies for routine patrols. This life, he truly believes, is where his family had their last "influence" on his career as he started displaying brash behavior that was unlike him at the time. Because of this, he received punitive action and was transferred to the Outer Rim territories; out of the reach of his family connections. On reporting aboard his new vessel, he and his new team were tasked with investigating disturbing going through their local quadrant. After uncovering a smuggling ring and being ambushed by their employers, the young soldier saved his comrades with effective fire and maneuver. This level of engagement, prompted his superiors to grant him the opportunity to train for a spot in the recently vacant commando team. Seeing this as an opportunity to further his abilities and save more lives, he took it and ran with it. The training was rigorous and difficult, with most of the candidates washing out in the first week. Upon receiving his armor as proof of his graduation, he reported back to his ship and to the team who would become his new family. 

Months rolled by, with constant training scenarios, before he would learn his team was being reassigned to the front where there were rumors about the Mandalorians on the warpath again. Upon entering their designated quadrant, they were ambushed and were forced to scuttle the ship to a nearby planet. On the ground, they fought long and hard in a losing battle against the Mandalorians. With supplies running low as well as morale, the remaining members of the commando unit were finally rescued by an elite unit that didn't officially exist. With most of his teammates either dead or unable to continue service on the frontlines, Cain immediately requested to join the unit to avenge his comrades. Initially denied the request, he continued to pursue the team and their leader until they finally relented. Having his wish granted, Cain was officially and covertly inducted to the commando unit of the IRSOG. Later on, Cain would learn that he wasn't happened upon by accident but by a group who were following an idealist Jedi who were visiting the planet they were forced upon. 

[b]Relationships and Acquaintances[/b]:
