The Dow Dragon's Cafe
A concept inspired by [@A Tattooed Girl], I'm a fan. I suppose I should start with a brief bio. I've been interested in literature and writing since I discovered Harry Potter. Never did I think a book could paint such an intricate and wonder filled world and never did I think a bundle of paper could light such a fire in me. And so I began to dive into the world of literature, first by just reading anything and everything that looked interesting, then writing my own stuff in my notebook when I was bored, then making up stories for my characters in video games. My writing passion only increased when I discovered my love for the mountains when I was 13, moving to a new state. There is beauty here like I have never seen. I've been heart broken and I've broken hearts, I've been depressed and I've gotten past it. But it was only when I got to high school that I truly fell in love and I still struggle to destroy that love within me today. And this, is what my first work is about.
"Not Much Of A Poet" Written October 2nd, 2016

The pain you won't know. The pain you can't know. The pain you mustn't know. The bloody hearts you leave in your wake You pay no attention to And those who would die in your name You are indifferent to The kindness you portray Tortures me Because it isn't kindness I seek. The way you talk about him Its as if he's been here with us For all these years But he hasn't And it seems that the time we spend Is nothing more than a bridge to your next love Undoubtedly going to break your heart But I guess that's the way karma works Because its mine that has been trampled on. It is fitting you will never see these words Never know what will never be heard Because silence seems to be my only key And it is silence that dominates me So there you have it I've had a good go of it I've always said I'm not much of a poet.
