  Most youths would find that ending up in the Insane Asylum would be the worse thing that could happen to them. And for most it was! But for an unlucky group of kiddos that were abandoned at the Geheime Wetenskaplike Laboratorium Asylum (due to one circumstance or another) life was about to get a whole hell of a lot worse.

  Smuggled away from the public eye, their identities stripped from them, these children were put under experiments that would make them into their own kind of monsters. Some of the subjects were physically altered, others mentally, but after going through what they did they were all their own individual brand of crazy. Most of the chosen individuals for this experiment died, but the few that have managed to survive were about to be put through a whole new kind of experiment. Unusual things have happened at the Asylum - some of the subjects have been manifesting/ developing powers that were not expected. Whether it is from the asylum being built on ancient burial grounds or just a wee bit too much radiation to the brain, the scientists are stumped. The time for the next stage has been reached, and an untold government has shown interest at the idea of buying these freaks of natures for their own squad of super soldiers. But there are still a few kinks that have to be worked out. Where before they were kept in seclusion, the subjects were randomly released into a dormitory looking section of building. 

  If these kids were going to be expected to work together the Asylum needed to make sure that they wouldn't self destruct at the first sign of social interaction. They have a whole list of last chance experiments that they have planned for their lab rats before they no longer have a chance...

Hello hello! I am Tip, most people probably won't know me as I have been on a year long hiatus from all online roleplay. However, I am back! I'd like to reboot this roleplay as I think it is a super cool idea. This opening section was written by [@Cyanide Sweetie] who is no longer active here but was my former GM! So enjoy this lovely roleplay that I have cooked up for ya!

The image above is of a Rider. The Riders can cancel out the patients' powers and take them for their own. When they are done handling the patients they are given back, obviously.

This image is of an Officer. They sort of... drift around invisible. Inflict punishments, control operations, stuff like that.

Cadets. They do the rubbish jobs like making beds and that. Can render themselves invisible from the patients. The Cadets are training to be Riders but the training period is a long one: 5 years.

[b]Rules[/b]
-No godmodding, controlling other characters etc.
-GM and/ or co-GMs might do time skips every now and then, only to move on the plot
-Please post all character sheets ready for acceptance here in the OOC first and then post it again in the characters tab once accepted, just so it keeps tidy. Add 'Why am I amazing?' to your CS if you read the rules.
-You can reserve a character if you'd like, I'll allow it as long as you post the CS soon enough after.
-Remember, the patients fear the wrath of the Riders! So act like that!
-Have fun, no arguments, be nice!
