Living in Aedrasil has made him a little more than paranoid, especially when he was without the linguistic finesse Wraith possessed, one wrong word and he would find himself yet with another spear stuck through his side without Wraith there to help him. He rathered not take the chance, traumatized by the events of the past ... The man fingered the air a little, tapping at something unseen. Then stared quietly at thin air for a few short moments before tracing down words on a piece of parchment he had swiftly fished out from his pockets, his hand was unsteady and shaky - almost like it was unused to the art of writing. ---Illusion insect. Lack courage showing happiness. Reality!---- He raised both hands innocently afterwards, though that cheeky grin was still hidden somewhere under those pursed lips. "I f-feel like we don't talk enough." Lucia then stuttered even more innocently. ...K proceeded to give her a very flat look. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He could hear the soft wind flowing through rustling leaves set upon nearby trees and the crystalline sound of water, trickling into a pond of sorts somewhere. He consulted his map, logically trying to piece together clues as to where they were based on what he heard. The Serene Pools, it read. Marked by the hand drawn icon of a golden little hut on the paper. A Temple? His eyes grew quizzical and he showed the map to Lucia, tapping at their location. What would a Moonscratched be doing at a temple this close to evening? As she looked at the map, his eyes were drawn to the ivory monument before them. Pristine white, of what he guessed, marble, delicately carved into the foundation that made up most of it. Architecture depicting aspects of plants, leaves and animals had been sewn into the filligree that lined the seams of the place. And even though Ivy had grown rampant through the place, seeping into every pore and crack it could find with their tendrils, there was something about it that made him think they were purposely tended to this way - there was not a single dying leaf in sight. With Origin's fading light welcoming the evening breeze, he was certain if he could breathe the air here it would be refreshing beyond words, but alas, such was forbidden fruit was it not? It dawned on him that he had no time to further muse about the tranquility of the place unfortunately, time was short. And soon his attentiveness paid off as he spotted an entrance into the complex not too far from where they were, a hidden alcove by the side of the building - likely not the main door.
