Father Ardias has spent most of his life as a Confessor before joining the Inquisitor in Segmentum Obscurus, devoting himself to the Emperor's will and teachings to seek and root out the filth that the taint of the Warp spreads among the less devout of the Imperium.

His most recent success in spreading the word of the Emperor came on Scintilla, a planet located in the Calixis Sector of Segmentum Obscurus. A Hive-World teeming with many faithful, Emperor-fearing Men that call it home. Upon his arrival on  Scintilla, Father Ardias was met by a small host of Adepts that quickly took him away from the crowd that had gathered to hear him at the space port. After a small argument and a short brief Father Ardias was filled with vigor and strength to carry out a most holy cleansing in the name of the Emperor, for the Governor of Scinitilla had come into dire news as of most recent days.

A rather large Chaos Cult was said to be active and very quickly growing in the Under-Hive population of Scintilla. Refusing a podium at the Ministorum center on Scintilla to preach, Adrias instead, against the wishes of the planetary Governor, set out into the Under-Hive with nothing more than the Emperor's protection and his trusted Book of Saint Lucius to not be seen for the next month and a half.

When he emerged from the depths he stunk, his clothes were torn and tattered, and his skin had been pulled tight over his bones from lack of sustenance. But behind him he shepherded some thousand Chaos Cultists that had seen the light of the Emperor and the error of their ways and that of Chaos after listening the the Confessor preach through out the Under-Hive. Father Adrias turned the Cultists over to the PDF and gave them the locations of those cultist gathering places that had not seen the way of the God Emperor for rapid cleansing.

After word of his actions and unwavering faith and devotion to the Emperor made its way through the Segmentum, Father Adrias was recruited by a passing Senior Inquisitor to be added to a fledgling Inquisitors retinue.
