I don't know, since I'm not very savvy with computers. I didn't actually have access to computers until well into my early 20's and I really only bother finding out what I need to know about them to do my work. I'm pretty sure I should be able to transfer my information over to the passport, so long as my USBs haven't decided to conveniently delete or corrupt data on me out of nowhere. Getting back any of the data that got lost, on the other hand, is looking a lot more grim.

I'll let you know when the time comes then, even if it's just something to give a better idea of what the story would be about, or some kind of sample of the project. I'm still largely on the fence working out if I can set up a role-playing topic here or join another one, so I'll be contemplating that while I attempt to keep working.
