Here is a character I'll be using if no one presents a 'rookie' character.
Name: White, Lara Age: 23 Gender: Female Callsign/Codename: Rook, Rookie, New Girl, New Blood, etc Kills: 18 Psychological Analysis: Soft spoken, but optimistic and bright, Lara is a modest young pilot with a strong sense of morality and justice. This level headed pilot is rather brave and stays rational in the face of hardship and adversity, despite her inexperience. Due to her young age, and relative inexperience, Lara is rather impressionable, and expresses a desire to learn various skills and tricks from the older veterans, though is often self conscious about her lesser skills when compared to that of the more experienced members of the group. Very down to earth and grounded individual, Lara has a calm and generally positive demeanor, which only occasionally borders on naivety. Her youth and relatively short time spent in the military means that the rigors of war have yet to take a toll on her psyche. Military Record: The youngest pilot on the Tigres Team, Lara White is the oldest of two, hailing from the planet Ilya, a major faction in the Coalition. Born to a military family, it has been expected for Lara to join the military since birth. Afforded high levels of education from private schools and academies on Ilya, Lara spent her childhood much like other children in the Coalition: basic education courses filled with propaganda against the tyrannical United Earth Empire and the importance of independence and freedom. Graduating from primary school a year early, Lara went straight into the illustrious Ilyan military academy and began taking classes in Aerospace Engineering, where she was first introduced to the Coalition's pride and joy: Mobile Armor Suits. Immediately enthralled with the idea of combat mechs in space, Lara took it upon herself to learn the inner workings of almost every MAS system developed- Coalition and UEE alike. Her Aerospace professor, thoroughly impressed with her eagerness to learn, recommended her for a slot in the Academies flight school- where she would learn to fly MAS rather than just understand them. Training for MAS pilots was quite demanding, both mentally and physically, with a dropout rate of about 40%, and many believed the girl to be unsuited to combat and better off in a support and maintenance role. Spitting in the face of expectations, Lara outdid the expectations of all of her instructors, and finished training at the top of her class, and was assigned to a C-MAD team shortly afterward. Though her first taste of combat- like many others, was a complete shock, Lara managed to survive, and indeed thrive in her new setting. In the fourth sortie in her first tour of duty, Lara and her team were taken by surprise by a large UEE mobile force, and through this Lara managed to escape the conflict relatively unscathed, and scored over a dozen kills in a single combat instance. Earning a bronze star for this act, Lara's first combat tour was cut short when an operative from the C-MAD Task Force Omega requisitioned her to fill an open slot in a special operations team- due to her raw talent and stellar academic records. The youngest Task Force Omega pilot to date, Lara has been part of the Tigres Team for a little over three months. Developed to combat the increasingly efficient UEE mobile armor suit designs, the Fafnir series MAS is designed as a replacement for the aging Ferir series of MAS. An excellent, well rounded machine with low development and operational cost, the Fafnir, unlike the more expensive Ferir III is meant to combine combat effectiveness as well as affordability. The frame was also developed to be lighter when compared to the Ferir series that represents the majority of the MAS forces, while maintaining its simplicity and ease of use. Using new technology, it features a Five-Core engine to provide it with more power than its predecessor, without breaking the bank like the Ferir III did. The Fafnir High Mobility Type is a refit of the standard Fafnir, designed during the original Fafnir development process with the goal of achieving both high output and mobility. Compared to the normal Fafnir which is focused more on versatility, High Mobility Type has comparatively poor stability during low output making the machine harder to control and places extra burden on the pilot. On the other hand, the machine has a higher maximum output with additional thrusters built into its body, allowing for even more rapid directional changes, alongside a 20% increase in lateral speed. Lara's custom Fafnir is painted a clean white, with purple stripes on its shoulder. Systems: ’Svayer’ Point Defense Laser 0 WT 2 PWR - The Fafnir sports a head mounted laser for anti-personnel and point defense needs. It’s a lightly powered laser that does little damage to MAS, but can damage exposed external systems and mess with sensors. 'Fang' System 2 WT 1 PWR - The Fang system is a set of superdense alloy 'claws' attached to the forearm of the Fafnir HMT. While usable as a short range melee weapon, it is designed to be used as a medium range grappling weapon- its dense claws sinking into the armor of MAS and Ship alike- either dragging them to the Fafnir, or dragging the Fafnir to it. When the claws are folded together, its dense body makes it suitable as a makeshift- though small- alloy shield. Class 2 Shield. 5 WT 5 PWR - While the old Ferir II forwent shields, due to the technology not existing at the time, the Fafnir takes advantage of new industry standards to mass produce and equip shields, enabling it to resist weapons fire. Tesla Drive 0 WT 7 PWR. - Like most Coalition designs, the Fafnir utilizes a tesla drive system to allow it to fly while in atmosphere and also maintain high degrees of mobility in and out of zero-g conditions. The Fafnir Tesla Drives are mounted onto its back, reminiscent of traditional boosters, allowing the tesla systems to be mass produced and easily replaced when damaged beyond repair. External Alloy Plating (light) 3 WT 0 PWR - The Fafnir HMT features a lightweight composite alloy plating over the key parts of its body, along with anti-beam coating to lessen the effects of weaker plasma weapons. Unlike the standard Fafnir, the Fafnir HMT cuts down on excess armor plating, in order to reduce the burden on its systems and increase its speed- at the cost of protection to its core systems. External Boosters 3 WT 5 PWR. - mounted atop of the tesla drive system as well as its legs, are a set of high powered omni-directional boosters, increasing its directional mobility when compared to standard Fafnirs, alongside a small increase in lateral thrust. External Power Cores 5 WT +10 PWR - Coming in the form of a pair of large battery packs attached to the sides of the Fafnir HMT, these Power Cores are designed to be quickly removed, and are utilized to power the Fafnir's External Boosters. When the power cores aren't equipped, the Fafnir diverts power from its External Boosters to allow the Fafnir to utilize its weapons. Countermeasure System - Countermeasure systems are often used by lighter MAS's to avoid missiles instead of using body mounted machine guns to intercept them. Using chaff and flares, countermeasure systems are negligible in terms of weight and power, but only has 3 chaff uses, and 6 sets of flares before needing to rearm. Improved Suspension System +10 WT 5 PWR - The Fafnir HMT is a high output machine, and as such its systems often require extra power to complete tasks at optimal rates. Fafnir HMTs use a supercharged version of the standard Fafnir reactor and suped up suspension system to support its requirements. 18/30 25/35

A70 Type-6 35mm Autocannon 3 WT 2 PWR - A carbine variant of the Type-3 assault autocannon used by the Ferir, the Type-6 is a cut down, lightweight assault weapon that combines light weight and the heavy firepower of a 35mm shell fired from a 180 round internal magazine. The Type-6 fires at a rate of 600 rounds per minute, and has a semi-automatic, three round burst, and fully automatic fire modes. The lighter frame of the weapon increases the weapon's noticeable recoil, and as a result, most pilots fire in single and burst mode. The carbine can be stowed behind the small of the back when not in use. CIWS Type-10 Scattergun: 5WT 3PWR- An advanced MAS shotgun which fires spreads of superheated iridium pellets in tight cones, the Coalition CIWS Type 10 is a belt-fed, close range semiautomatic assault weapon made for storming fortifications and is effective against infantry targets as well as MAS units. The iridium pellets- essentially razor sharp spears of iridium the size of a man's forearm, are tightly packed into MAS sized shotgun shells and are meant to sear and puncture through MAS armour at point blank range, but quickly lose effectiveness as the range increases. The CIWS fires from a 80 round belt, and can be surprisingly accurate up to medium-short ranges. The scattergun can be stowed behind the small of the back when not in use. Combat Tomahawk 3 WT 5 PWR - A combat axe used by the Fafnir HMT in close quarters combat. The edge of the blade utilizes a plasma edge to increase its cutting power. 29/30 35/35

AX90 Type-4 Pile Bunker 5 WT 2 PWR - A large, re-imagining of a medieval lance, the AX90 is a multi-part pile bunker consisting of three main parts. The primary part is the lance head itself, which consists of a superdense alloy tip connected to a large chemical charge. The lance head then attaches Lance Gauntlet, which connects to the forearm and hand of the Fafnir, immobilizing and stabilizing it. Attached to the lance gauntlet and the Fafnir's hand is a Micro Type-4 Autocannon, a submachine variant of the Type-3 assault autocannon used by the Ferir. The Type-4 is a lightweight assault weapon that can be held in a single hand and fires a smaller 30mm autocannon round from a side mounted 120 round drum magazine, with a spare magazine on the leg. The Type-4 fires at a rate of 900 rounds per minute, and has a semi-automatic, three round burst, and fully automatic fire modes. If needed, the Lance Gauntlet can be ejected from the MAS, without removing the autocannon portion. A spare lance head is often stored on the other arm.
