Name: Raziel, Champion of the Jesterka, Chosen of Rhodrolth, Son of Elder Rylarth Race: Jesterka Known Racial Abilities: Jesterka are known for their immense strength and durability. Their scales are as durable as the armor they wear. Along with their durability, Jesterka scales have the ability to negate low level magic, and reduce the effectiveness of better magic. Jesterka are also capable of different breaths, and Raziel is no exception. His breath is fire, which is seen as a noble breath, alongside lightning. Wings on Jesterka are rare, and are seen as Divine Blessings. Age: 51 Renowned Skills: As one would expect out of an Jesterka Champion, Raziel is the toughest of them all. In terms of raw power, there isn't an Jesterka who can match him. Outside of his battle prowess, Raziel is actually a fairly intelligent commander. His wings are a sign of divine blessing, thus, this adds to his legacy. Magic: None Weapon: Essentially a Zweihander, though Jesterka can wield it with one hand. If Raziel breaths on his sword, it will ignite. His other hand is carrying a Shield that has been decorated with the scales of fallen Jesterka. The final piece of his armory are javelins. Armor: First a set of chain mail, followed by plate armor. The plate armor has the scales of Jesterka decorating it, giving the armor magic resistance. Steed: Raziel rides his Wyrm, Kisenth, into battle. Wyrms are essentially dragons without wings, therefore, much inferior. They would be In the Draconian Hierarchy, Wyrms are the lowest of them all. This led to them being tamed by the Jesterka, and are their signature mounts. Kisenth was the largest and strongest of his litter, and was chosen by Raziel to be his mount at an early age. Kisenth is a dark blue. Bio: Raziel was the only son born of his father Rylarth, and his favorite consort, Shevorth. Unlike his father, Raziel was born with a noble breath, fire, as well as the divine gift of wings. This alone was enough for most people to believe that Raziel was to be a great Champion. After all, if Rylarth was able to go from nothing to Champion with his training, imagine what he could do with someone who started with everything gifted to him? As a child, Raziel would train with Rylarth, Rylarth's Chosen, and the children of the other Elders. As one would expect, Raziel was better than the other children, though he did have someone who could match him, Naloth. For as long as Raziel can remember, him and Naloth were rivals, always trying to one up each other. Raziel found this to be a fun rivalry, between friends, each one trying to push the other to their best. As Raziel would grow older, Naloth and himself, were placed into his father's chosen. The two were the youngest to have ever been placed into a Champion's Chosen. While they weren't the best when they originally joined, by the time Rylarth retired to become an Elder, the two were definitely the best, and the second best. Rylarth decided for his child to become Champion in his place, and the Elders agree, placing Raziel to become the youngest champion, at the age of 50. When the original word of Gargth and Everstrine came to the Jesterka, they didn't pay much attention. Magic was pointless to them after all, but when it came to light that Gargth had taken over the entirety of the Everstrine, including The Dragon's Lair, Rylarth knew he needed to do something. Sadly, he didn't believe he was strong enough on his own, and that is why he decided to retire when the next Elder died. He believed that only his son, and Naloth would be able to free their sacred land. Of course, when Raziel was put in charge, he immediately started preparing for this journey. Growing up, Raziel heard stories about the The Great Four, Rhodrolth, Verioth, Caydranth, and his own father. Now, it was his time for join them, and if he succeeded in this quest, he was sure of it. Their scales are as durable as the armor they wear. Along with their durability, Jesterka scales have the ability to negate low level magic, and reduce the effectiveness of better magic. Jesterka are also capable of different breaths, and Naloth is no exception. His breath is lightning, which is seen as a noble breath, alongside fire. Age: 51 Famed Skills: Of course, in order to become a captain in Jesterka culture, he must be stronger than the rest. Strongest becomes Champion, while the second plays as second-in-command. No other Jesterka can defeat Naloth in battle, outside of Raziel of course. Similar to Raziel, Naloth is a very skilled strategist. Magic: None Weapon: Essentially a Zweihander, though Jesterka can wield it with one hand. If Naloth breaths on his sword, it will become surrounded in the electricity. His other hand is carrying a Shield that has been decorated with the scales of fallen Jesterka. The final piece of his armory are javelins. Armor: First a set of chain mail, followed by plate armor. The plate armor has the scales of Jesterka decorating it, giving the armor magic resistance. Steed: Naloth rides his Wyrm, Paddrenth, into battle. Paddrenth is a nice shade of red. Bio: Naloth was born to Nerroth, and his favorite consort, Lyth. Growing up, Naloth heard stories of his great grandfather, the Champion of before Rylarth, as well as of his Grandfather, the most hated man in Jesterka history. From very early on, he was trained to place his people before himself, and while he wanted to internalize it, he always had a very time with it. After all, putting his people before himself meant swallowing his own pride, and that meant admitting that Raziel was better. . . Growing up, him and Raziel were constantly training, and the two formed a great rivalry. While Raziel thought of it as a friendly one, Naloth hated Raziel, and just wanted to be better than him. He wasn't really sure why he had such a problem with Raziel, he just did. With every competition between the two, Naloth only began to hate Raziel more, and more. It wasn't until both were selected to join Rylarth's Chosen that Naloth began to understand why he hated Raziel. Raziel had everything. Raziel had the divine gift of wings, Raziel's father was not only a Champion, he was considered one of the four greatest to have ever existed, and it was believed that Raziel was to be the fifth. A member of Raziel's family wasn't considered The Most Evil Man in Jesterka History. Raziel was perfection, and he just wasn't. So the two would battle together, and despite the many times Naloth would ignore whenever Raziel needed help, Raziel was the first to assit Naloth. Raziel considered Naloth a friend, and you never leave a friend behind. This always perplexed Naloth, but he never really took it to heart. If he considered Raziel a friend, how could he hate him? And everything in him, despite all of Raziel's kindness, wanted to hate him. At least, until Raziel was the decided as the next champion. This was hardly a surprise to Naloth, but it still hit him hard. This was undeniable proof that Raziel was his better. There was no point in competing anymore, he had lost. Whatever it was, something inside of him was wrong. From the very beginning, he was built inferior to Raziel, and that wasn't something he could take lightly. And the worst part of it is that he couldn't get away from this reality, for he was Second-in-Command, and fleeing after receiving such an honor would be a disgrace to his family, and he couldn't disgrace it anymore, not after his grandfather. The day of Raziel, and his own, coronation, he decided to speak to his father about his feelings. Nerroth was not a man of words, preferring to let his actions speak. This might have been one of the main reasons he was second-in-command to Rylarth. Either way, he decided to tell his son about the Civil War, a story that Naloth knew by heart. How his grandfather betrayed his people over his son not being picked as the Champion, and how he put his own selfish desires above the Jesterka. He had known it, but he just couldn't let his pride go. That was until Nerroth told Naloth how his grandfather truly died. The books will say that Nerroth's father was killed in battle, but that was a lie. Rylarth captured him, and Nerroth killed him, against Rylarth's wishes. While this originally shocked Naloth, he needed to know why his father would do such a thing. To this, Nerroth only said one thing. "Jesterka" One word, and it didn't really make much sense to those who didn't know Nerroth. However, Naloth understood what his father meant. If Rylarth kept Nerroth's father alive, the people who supported him might have continued to rally around him. Sure, his death might have been a martyr, but it was better than people constantly rallying around a man who was alive. In that decision, Nerroth put aside his loyalty, and did what he believed was best for the Jesterka. While Naloth couldn't instantly change how he felt deep down, he knew that he needed to follow his father. Supporting, and staying by Raziel's side was the true way for the Jesterka to be successful, especially with the upcoming Mission to Free the Scared Land. Over the past year, he has grown to somewhat like Raziel, though he still isn't a fan of his. However, his personal feelings about Raziel aren't important, he will forever be faithful. His people are before him, now, and always.

Regiment Name: Raziel's Chosen Banner: A sword with dragon wings on the side. Looks incredibly damaged, and very old. From as far back as the Jesterka have recorded, the Division has existed, but the name has kept changing with every chosen Champion of the Jesterka. It is a group of the Champion's chosen 300 warriors. It is considered the best of the Jesterka, and to be in said division is an honor unlike any other. One can not be a Jesterka Elder without being a member of this Regiment. After some have died, they are to be replaced with the next best. This Division's story starts long ago, with a Jesterka named Rhodrolth. This is the earliest story in Jesterka History. Before this period, it was believed that the Jesterka were separated into 12 tribes, and the tribes were constantly warring. Rhodrolth was the head of his tribe, but he found no purpose in this pointless warring. The Jesterka would be the strongest race once united. Originally, he believed that bloodshed was the only way to solve this conflict, thus he created his Divsion. The Rhodrolth Division was greater than any other, but despite all the battles they won, and all the enemy Jesterka they killed, no other tribe was willing to surrender. This should have been obvious to Rhodrolth, after all, the Jesterka were a fighting people. You never quit, not until every last one has died. However, a mass genocide of all Jesterka would be against his purpose. So, he needed a way to unite his people without all the needless Bloodshed. At this time, all Jesterka did have a common faith. They did, as they do now, worship Dragons as all-mighty forces. Something to be revered, as well as cherished. Rhodrolth knew that if he could find one, and has it speak to his people, they would all unite. This began Rhodrolth's 15 year quest for a Dragon. In the mean time, he left his second-in-command, Xalanth, in charge of his people, and most importantly, his division. While he didn't want to spill Jesterka blood, the other tribes would continue to attack, and somebody needed to lead them in Rhodrolth's absence. After 15 years, Rhodrolth finally found what he was searching for, in what is known today as Dragon's Lair, Rhodrolth found a dragon. This is how Dragon's Lair became a sacred site to the Jesterka. Rhodrolth was able to communicate with the Dragon, and the Dragon agreed with his cause. The Dragon let Rhodrolth ride upon his back, as they both flew back to Rhodrolth's tribe, as well as the other Jesterka tribes. The Dragon told them that uniting was the only true way for the Jesterka to prosper, however, they should not let one man lead. While Rhodrolth was a great man, and would never leave his people down a path of destruction, future rulers might. The Dragon instructed the leaders of each tribe to rule over the united Jesterka, and in the future, the 12 mightiest of Jesterka would take their place, and so on, until the end of time. With his message complete, The Dragon flew off, never to be seen again. It is believed that the Dragon is still waiting, somewhere in Dragon's Lair, waiting for when the Jesterka need him the most. This is how the original Division was born. When the next champion was chosen by the Elders, they credited Rhodrolth, with the decision, thus nicknaming the Champion, the Chosen of Rhodrolth. His second-in-command was to be nicknamed the Chosen of Xalanth. The ownership of the Division was given to the new Champion, thus changing the name of it. This was a tradition that would last until modern times, and the Jesterka still using the same flag from so very long ago. Nobody is really sure how the flag had managed to last as long as it is, some speculate it was enchanted by The Dragon. The Division has been in every important Jesterka War, though the most celebrated of the Jesterka are the Taming of he Wyrm, The War of the Kobold, and The Jesterka Civil War. The Taming of the Wyrm happened long ago, though it was still long after the time of Rhodrolth. The Champion of the time was named Verioth. The Wyrm were always considered inferior to the Jesterka, though it was not until the time of Verioth where their full potential was noticed. Wyrm are powerful beasts, but they lack the knowledge and sentience of the Jesterka. Their size were perfect as mounts for the Jesterka, but how do you tame such powerful monsters? Verioth put together the smartest of the Jesterka, and they created a plan. Verioth and his Chosen went across their land, finding every Jesterka they could. Taming such wild beasts from adults would be pointless, but raising from eggs would be intelligent. The Chosen monitored whatever Wyrms they found, and after every female laid her many eggs, Verioth and his Chosen would slaughter her, keeping the eggs, and raising them for themselves. This process would continue until every female Wyrm in the wild was murdered. After all, without females for re-population, the males would soon die off. They kept the eggs until they hatched, and they would try to tame those Wyrms from birth. Not all Wyrms were easy to tame, and all those who were still rowdy after years were killed off. In time, every living Wyrm would be used by the Jesterka as their mounts. This is what cemented Verioth's spot in Jesterka History. The War of the Kobold was an attempt to enslave the neighboring race, the Kobold. The Kobold are simple goblins, the size of human children. They have the ability to change their shape into animals. The Jesterka simply paid no attention to them for many many years, as they were not a challenge. If they aren't a challenge, they are not worth fighting. The Champion of the time, Caydranth, noticed the terrible lives many of his people were living. While it wasn't customary for Jesterka to care much for the lowest members of society, Caydranth believed that the Jesterka were so mighty, that none should be forced to do such labor. However, who could do that instead? That was when Caydranth realized that they could enslave the neighboring Kobolds, making them do such work. After bringing it up to the Elders, they agreed. The war was short, and incredibly one sided. The Jesterka were much too powerful for this race in combat. In exchange for not killing off the entire race, the Kobolds were enslaved by the Jesterka. Now all the dangerous work, as well as serving, was done by the Kobolds, while even the lowest ranking of Jesterka didn't have too bad. It was still pretty bad, but not AS bad. This cemented Caydranth his spot in Jesterka History. The last Division to be one of the most memorable was Rylarth's. Rylarth started as a poor Jesterka, living in the lowest class, right above the Kobolds. His breath was that of Sonic, his family was poor, and they had no real means of escaping such a life. Unless, of course, Rylarth defied the odds and became a great warrior. Rylarth understood that this was the only way for him to live a truly great life, so he dedicated all of his time to training. After enough time, he enlisted in the military, and kept climbing until he made the division of the champion before him, Soreth. This was defying the odds, no lowborn has ever become one of the Champion's Chosen. His life was enough to be grand, and his family could live a great life now. Despite all of that, this wasn't enough for Rylarth. Rylarth kept training, and won whatever skirmish his division was called to do, showing his strength and prowess, and Soreth noticed. A Champion can't just retire whenever he pleases. He can only retire when an Elder has passed, and he is granted an automatic place as Elder. This is special as most Elders are decided by a vote between living Elders. Eventually, when an Elder had past, Soreth retired. While the Elders are technically the ones who decide who the Champion is, they usually choose whoever the previous Champion suggests, and Soreth suggested Rylarth to take his place. After all, Rylarth was the strongest at the time, probably even stronger than Soreth. Soreth also suggested that his second-in-command be Nerroth, his grandson. While one would expect Nerroth to be upset by this, he respected his grandfather's decision, and stood faithfully by Rylarth. This did upset Nerroth's father, Mersoth, as well as some of the people. How could you put a poor boy like Rylarth in such a powerful position, and not your own grandson? This reaction to Soreth's choice is what eventually led the Jesterka to their only Civil War. Rylarth quickly decided his chosen, many of which were originally a part of Soreth's. He led his own division, as well as others in many battles, over 20 years. Until, eventually, Rylarth won the war. Rylarth captured Merosth, and was planning on sentencing him to life in jail, but Nerroth thought differently, and beheaded his father, against Rylarth's will. For what purpose? Not even Rylarth is truly sure, though he believes it is a mix of Nerroth trying to prove his loyalty, but to also show his father that he values the good of the Jesterka over his own personal pride. Now, the Champion's Chosen will have another tale. Raziel's Chosen are a young regiment, but this might be one of the most important tasks any Chosen has gone on. This journey will either cement in their name in history, or be their end.
