The bottom area shows that there is an opening obviously
But for our own use- let's say both sides are short enough in width to cross by foot bridge.

Any place marked by creek is passable by bridge
Rivers are fast running and unable to cross without boat
Lake is deep and murky but able to swim in.[/i]
