I have an idea. I'm still brewing it (in part because I want to create a nice story to a small nation, on the south-eastern part of thorisa.)
A small cult of Warpers who were infatuated with the unique power of the Void Templars. Heretic... Insane... those were only some of the words they were called by others. Fleeing to the south eastern part of thorisa, hiding in one of the isles located there, they started their forbidden studies, harnessing the "void" power.

Resuming: giving away part of their power to warp (can warp only small to moderate distances, although safely.), they were able to harness the power of the void. Employing it in a different manner than the Templars, they use it not to just nullify magic, but instead taking a more subtle and precise use to it. instead of using it to create large areas, nullifying any magic, they use small, concentrated bursts of void energy, more suitable to offensive applications aimed directly to certain points on one's arcane network, they can permanently cripple it, temporarely disable it, or destroy it (yadda, yadda, pain, magical overflow, probably resulting in the demise of the other mage.)

Still thinking about it tho
