They can try to help the other people, but they can't do it by directly communicating with them. Actually, I have a character in my project whose specialization is in ghosts (he can actually communicate with them), but without a power like that what you're suggesting is the more logical approach. There's a good psychological element to it too (one I also use in my project), since the deceased players need to struggle with the torment of not being able to talk to their allies directly and need to find other ways to help. I still might avoid letting them know who killed them though, to avoid the internal thought of the characters revealing it. Still, no "backseat (or posthumous) chess playing" in this thread everyone, m'kay? That goes for people who aren't in the game at all too.
