You have a solid grasp on reality; of course, you and your companions are well and truly real. The feline beast that you chance with is also real. More than anything, your gut tells you that the Wilderdeep itself, and everything terrible that runs rampant within is also very real, and drawing near. The nausea and reality-shattering is enough to give anyone pause, however you have not experienced first-hand whatever is behind you, and do not know exactly why the beast is so terrified.
