Let's see...
Radius over 7 meters, so volume of about 1500 cubic meters. That means density of about 7000 kg/m[sup]3[/sup]. This is comparable to that of iron. So no. The ophanim are not especially massive. They have a typical mass for a 7-meter-radius lump of near-solid metal, which is nowhere near big enough to exert noticeable gravity in all but the most contrived circumstances.
