Jin "Sin" Baal
Time would eventually arise for Jin to stop swinging the ax against the tree. Enough chopping had been completed that Jin began to tie a rope around a desired area of the tree. Strategically or with precision, Jin tugged and pulled. Soon loud cracks bellowed from the tree as it began to fall. Luckily, Jin did not get hit. Standing not far from the fallen specimen, Jin reached in his pocket and pulled out a sharpening stone or whetstone and began using it accordingly. Once the ax became sharp enough, Jin would debranch the tree. Smaller, much lighter twigs and branches would be located to a certain pile. Whereas sizable branches would be placed into another pile. After the branches were taken care of, Jin began preparing the tree and cutting it down to desired sizes or portions. Some would be used for firewood, other or certain sections of the lumber would be set aside for another project at hand.
Lance Eisert
The man hosted a decently sized bag upon his back. Cautiously, yet nonchalantly, one foot went before the other. Dangling below his pack were several metal rod like needles created of his magi-metal. Occasionally emitting a ring or chime while walking as they hit into one-another. Sword hung by his waist, within a sheath, left side. Resting on the shoulders, was a spear/lance, each wrist draped over for support and comfort. The man looked hot, the coat currently being worn was not for summer weather by far. Though, not only was bag full, but Lance did not feel like removing it. Seeking a village which passerby proclaimed it's name to be "Moonbright". Currently, Lance was searching. Not for something, but someone. The individual which Lance looked for was not any of his siblings or family. In fact, the person was an old friend of his own. Only problem stemmed from lack of information of his friends whereabouts. Lance was also quiet reluctant to explain his pursuits to just anyone. Walking led him into a small forest-thicket type area, for if traveling continued onward Moonbright Village was rumored to be discovered. Spotting a creek in the distance, the clangs and rings of his movements could be heard during his approach of the water source. Dropping to a kneel, Lance inspected the small river. Before Lance even attempted to replenish his water flask, or drink it himself, a palm full of the creek's water was acquired and inspected. To sedate his worry or 'better judgment', this water would need to be 'purified' or brought to a boil to ensure it was safe for consumption.
