Jinx Haven
"Eighty-five degree's north and twenty-nine degrees west. Are you sure Fretta? I brought your granddaughter that watch, so you better not be lying to me." Jinx was horizontal to the road, her boots kicking at the dirt as she tried to push the straggles of curled hair off of her face. She had her hood on to hide the blueish white skin tone and scars, but her hair was always trying to escape any restraint she placed on it. A grizzled old soul of a woman stood in front of her pointing to the thick woods to the right. The woman nodded, despite the crink in her skeleton,"LIKE I SAID! Follow that way and you will find a good enough cliff to get a good overview of the village. I remember the spot like it was yesterday. Rinaldo and me spent many a night on that hill." Jinx shivered, envisioning this tiny little corpse getting it on with a smarmy little Italian man. "Ya....Thanks Fretta If you're still moping around the road I will come back to see you in a bit, but for Christ's sake try to move on. Rinaldo might be waiting." Frettaa laughed,"That old crone! That man is still alive and kicking. Riddled with the crabs, I hope. Anyway..I will see you again, cold one." Jinx shook her head, adjusting her pack as she headed into the woods, her boots kicking up dirt as she pulled out her compass and headed into the dark. The forest itself was busy with the sounds of birds, the whistling of leaves and a mild thunk that Jinx judged was a woodpecker or some other beast. Her white eyes glazed over the greenery, looking over every stump or tree to indicate where she had traveled. She kept moving forward, the pains of lethargy not really a concern to her, unfortunately the same couldn't be said about the pangs of hunger. It had been two weeks since she could afford to consume something and even if eating wasn't entirely necessary, her body craved food just like everyone else on this god-forsaken planet. A growl erupted from her stomach, bringing her back from her thoughts and out of nowhere she noted a berry bush highlighted by a split in the green canopy. She licked her lips, eyeing the fruit as if it was a godsend. She darted over at full speed, ripping off the small globes to shove them into her mouth. They tasted good. Slightly sour but delicious, the nectar was..the nectar was..NUMB!?! "FUCK! I am so damn stuppeeee.." Jinx turned rigid, her limbs going numb as she slumped forward, hitting the side of a stump as she rolled onto her back. She foamed slightly at the mouth, her eyes rolling back as she flailed. Great! Good one Jinx! What did we say last time, look before you eat!! You better hope some direwolf doesn't come and take your leg again. Shit...I really have a death wish. It wasn't long before a blackness faded over her, leaving her body open to the wilderness as the effects of the deadly poison took it's toll.
