Heh, I wasn't going to post here, but [@tsukune]'s post has made me decide to ask a question that I've been wondering from the moment I saw this thread open. Are we discussing franchises themselves, or the fandoms specifically? If it's the fandom, then my only comment is that I don't particularly have a lot of respect for any of them. Most communities in society, regardless of their culture or origin, tend to follow the same basic behaviour patterns; floods and floods of hive-minded and ignorant people who can't think outside of the box, and independent-minded individuals who show real insight and wisdom by questioning the status quo (not that the more common belief is automatically always wrong, but questioning things in order to make them better is one of the things that separates humanity from other forms of life). With that in mind, I tend to stay clear of any sort of community of people who collectively follow a franchise without being able to act like mature adults, and I've never encountered a collective fandom that I believed was universally positive, though I admit I've definitely met some fandoms that are far more negative than others. If we're talking about franchises we enjoy, I'm not going to waste my time citing everything I like or hate. All I'll say is that I'm pretty much incapable of becoming a "die-hard" fan of anything. I've never found a franchise that can invoke that sort of fanaticism in me, even the ones which I consider myself an adamant supporter of. My own story project is literally the only piece of work that has ever gained that level of devotion and obsession from me. That said, I second tsukune's comment about disliking the Undertale fandom. I don't know how many times I need to tell these fucking people that the aesthetic of the game doesn't interest me at all before they'll get it through their thick skulls that I don't want to play it. Some of your other comments were worded how I'd have wanted to say them too (though I have less experience with any of the fandoms you mentioned since I mostly keep to myself with what I like and don't look for the community of fans).
