To be fair to Attack on Titan though, it's been like three years since season one ended and season two isn't until April of next year so it's not like fans have had a lot of content to consume. I mean there's the manga but psssh who reads the manga anymore. Anime fandoms are weird because it's always a flash in the pan thing. You've got the long running stuff that is always there but then like clockwork some show gets super popular for a season until the next big thing comes along just as people were starting to realize the old show they hyped up was actually kind of shit all along. It's a vicious cycle. Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, Re:Zero, etc. Orange is the New Black just turned to utter shit after season two so that's probably why people abandoned it. Also because Netflix shows are pretty mediocre across the board anyway and OITNB had the honor of being one of the first. See also: House of Cards. Fandoms is fucked.
