[@Raijinslayer] The intro will have to grow on me - I didn't like it that much, but then again I hated the Volume 3 one until like Episode 4.

Also given the simple life Daedalus led back in Vacuo, it's unlikely he's ever heard of the family or understands the connotations. Even if he did, he's more than likely to forgive her based on the grounds of 'Violetta isn't them' - even if she did something that gave others grounds to distrust her. That's one of the biggest flaws of Daedalus - he's so desperate to see the good in people because he's deathly afraid of giving in to hatred and anger, and that often manifests itself as naivety at best or stupidity at worst.
