Formal Name: The Great Empire of Theolagius (note that the name has a straight connection To theologians meaning they study god.) Informal Name: The Empire of Theo, Theo, The Plains (see north west on map.), Great Theolagius, The Land of (Dis)Honour, the land of slaves. Government System: hierarchy/monarchy. Species: mostly humans, they alienate, enslave and kill other species. Population: humans: around 4,000,000, enslaved species (any): around 2,000,000 (60% of them make up the army.) Nation Advantages: Strong siege weapons and many soldiers (slaves as well{bound by magic}), a strong first son/arch Mage, holding one of the future wonders of the world (some sort of floating magic library), has a vast navy, the northland is prosperous with farms as far as the eye can see, are very religious. Nation Weaknesses: is a very self centred nation, their army is weak against archers and magic, few Theolagians disagree with the actions of enslavement and are then believed heretics and executed, other humans who are against them are dubbed heretics and killed, the Southland is more mountainous and less populated meaning no crops and barely any population (meaning an easy area to attack) are not thought very of kindly by other nations and therefor have few allies. Culture: The Theolagians believe in the high father, an almighty god above others, this is important to the history and system of the nation. The Theolagians are basically the British except more dastardly. The hierarchy system is built as such: First son, pope Second sons, high priests and war priests (these guys are expert fighters and very religious, don't get on their bad side.) the emperor is an honorary second son though not trained in expert fighting. Third sons and daughters, lords and lady's, lower priests and nuns. Fourth sons and daughters, the wealthy and the commoners. Fifth sons and daughters, poor, usually those in poverty. Slaves and beasts are in the last tier, heretics as well. Anyone who is human and is with other races who are not their slaves will be killed, that meaning other nations with a multiracial population. Brief History: years after the uniting of the clans of Theolagius, the first emperor and son of the man who united Theolagius, Khalathad the righteous, brought the religion of the high father into their lives which, by unknown means, mass converted the population. The gospel of the high father brought about the thought of humans being the one true race in the lands of terra, shortly after the rise of Theolagius the righteous king Khalathad lead the conquest of eastern terra, enslaving those inhuman beings and gaining some allies with likeminded nations (which soon became one with the empire). After the sudden assassination of Khalathad the righteous, his son, Jeonhad the avenger, murdered many slaves and took the final stretch of land to the south of Theolagius, he too was assassinated. Years go by and his daughter, Orhen the kind, rises into power, she was one who stayed true to the teachings of the gospel... but in a peaceful way. Orhen the kind believed the inhuman and human to be the same, less inhuman and more "demi-human", she thought the Demihumans were more servants than slaves and treated them as such. After three years of rule, she was overthrown as empress and exiled as a heretic, WITH her son. The leader of the coup was the lord of the state of Bassovar, the second in size and most righteous, with the aid of the church the lord Iltar claimed throne and became emperor of eastern terra (he is basically hitler this time)... the ex-empress has not been heard from in eighteen years, but her son, Eilhad the seeker, has made a name for himself in the company of bounty hunters. (This is roughly 130 years of history since after the conversion to the high father, I will see what I can do with Eilhad and Iltar on a later date.)
