Actually, [@Ailyn Evensen]'s made a point to me over the phone how we could probably block out a lot of the bots if a brief period of time each day on the site just had much stricter account registration methods; the bots mostly always show up during a specific set couple of hours each day. Of course, then people couldn't boost their post counts by reporting them here.
