I'm very particular about picking names and my perfectionist nature bleeds over to it a lot. Sometimes it takes a really long time for me to settle on a name and consider it more than a placeholder. I usually take a lot of things into account, such as the origin and meaning, and I try to make the names sound unique or uncommon if I can too. Some of the names also go by a theme, such as people from the family we're talking about at the moment to an extent.
