[*][b]Personality[/b]:
In stark contrast to her status as a high-order mountain spirit, Saikohime is actually pretty lax. More concerned with lazing about doing nothing or collecting various kinds of otaku merchandise, to call her "lazy" would be a bit of an understatement. Due to her age and position, she's incredibly informal when interacting with others, but is otherwise somewhat friendly. That being said, she doesn't take kindly to disrespect, whether it be towards her or her things. While she makes a point of staying out of the affairs of mortals, she'll make an exception for things that piss her off enough.
[*][b]Equipment[/b]:
While she wears regular clothes when out and about in the city, her actual garb is a black kimono with gold trim and a golden floral pattern. She wears it dangerously low on her shoulders, miraculously managing not to expose herself somehow despite the cleavage level. She also has a staff (pictured) that is mostly used as a prop for when she's performing her duties, but is durable enough to withstand her whacking people if she chooses to do so.
[*][b]Abilities[/b]:
First and foremost, Saikohime is incredibly strong and, representing the power of mountains. This strength, however, is paired with similarly ludicrous speed. These traits, along with many of her other abilities, tend to wax and wane with her proximity to mountains, however. Among her other abilities are earth manipulation, magnetism and the ability to change size (typically used to grow larger in order to intimidate people who want to fight her), and the ability to exorcise evil spirits. Consequently, due to being a mountain spirit, she also always knows where the nearest mountains are. Whether that's due to having read maps or an actual natural ability is a subject up for some debate to some.
[*][b]Skills[/b]:
A skilled hand-to-hand combatant, seasoned by what has been an innumerable amount of brawling. While she tends to simply brute force through a lot of problems, she occasionally gives hint of a level of finesse. She's also a damn good cook, but she's too lazy to bother most of the time, leading to her instead stuffing her face with fast-food and instant ramen.
[*][b]Brief Backstory[/b]:
A mountain spirit abandoned by the shrinekeepers that used to worship her. Those who knew her from far enough back into the past would have seen her as a fairly dutiful mountain spirit, if still a little rough around the edges. And, before that, as a raucous troublemaker who'd pick fights all the time to prove her strength. Now, with most people having a lack of need for her services as a mountain guardian, she simply hangs out waiting for people to ask her for help. It was only a few years ago that she had a proper shrine. However, after having gotten roped into the otakusphere and having the shrinekeepers run errands for her (typically to get her some blu-rays or a figure of some sort), the shrinekeepers eventually got tired of having to hike up and down the mountains to feed Saikohime's habit, with all of them quitting service almost all at once. Now, without anyone to run errands for her, Saikohime often visits the city herself when she needs to get food, clothing and merchandise.
