He would have learned about the Vulcan culture from his father, but not fully adopted it.  Emotionally, he would be betazoid, except when it came to sex, where he'd treat it like a Vulcan would.

His telepathy would mostly be empathy with non-telepaths, and while he could mind speak or mind meld, it only works with other telepaths, similar to how Councilor Troi can telepathically speak with her mother.

Would that work, or should I go with one or the other?
