You follow the creature through the trees, who seems to have an uncanny sense of direction. As far as you can tell, everything looks the same in this section of the forest. After a while, the noise behind you fades, and the feline slows his pace to a quick walk. The many-eyed face betrays hints of relief and exhaustion. [i]"You have no idea what you've gotten into,"[/i] it rasps to Serah. [i]"The hunter can become the hunted in the blink of an eye."[/i] It paces the ground, looking over its shoulder more than once, then leads you to a rocky enclosure, presumably its den. It is dark, but the thing's eyes glow as it enters the murk. [i]"They are unnatural,"[/i] it says, voice rebounding down the stone walls. [i]"Not mere men or bests, but spectres. They come without warning and leave suffering in their wake. I do not know what they are,"[/i] the beast cocks its head thoughtfully, [i]"but maybe[/i] she [i]does..."[/i] It looks to Serah again, resigned. [i]"The food, if you please. I do not demand this time, but beg."[/i]
