No less than eight armed guards accompanied Altwen and the other man to their cell. Apparently he had caused the guards some trouble in his capture, like Altwen had, but regardless they clearly weren't taking risks here. Altwen himself was glad he wasn't the only one they were worried about - having to protect someone could cause problems on the way out. He glared at the guards but kept quiet. He walked to his cell. When they arrived, he was surprised to find they were sharing a cell with not just each other, but several others as well. Eight beds in the cell, but apparently not everyone had arrived yet, because only a man and a girl slightly younger than him were waiting there. The pair stepped into the cell with the others, while the door slammed shut behind them. Altwen looked around briefly, then picked an empty corner and sat there to meditate. Before he began, he told them "Before any of you ask, yes, I do plan to get out of here, and no, you shouldn't disturb me if you expect me to help you do the same". And then he sat, wreathed in silence and thought.
