I'll probably limit magic to minor elemental magic and runic magics. Runes for warding more than anything else and elemental magic more for combat, though not that useful in combat, and practical uses. I mean, who doesn't want a trained mage providing wind for a ship on the sea. Though, there may be exploration into the use of blood magic for 'sacrifices' to the Gods to help 'tame' certain beasts or harm others. That is up to discussion though.
