[@Cyrania] I'm a HUUUUGE Winter Soldier fan, so anything that links back to Dr Zola is right up my alley!!! That sounds really cool, hell, maybe you could combine the mutant/lab origins in a way, perhaps Chris' mother was experimented on during pregnancy, or when Chris was a newborn, so technically his powers are from an experiment, but unlike the likes of, say Wolverine, Deadpool and Winter Soldier, the powers are their from birth/shortly after birth as opposed to an adult!

It's totally your call of course, I like the aspect of the experiment being shelved by Zola and picked up by another scientist, perhaps somewhere in the story Zola gets snippy about his stolen experiment which later succeeds! Sorry I'm running away with things now haha!
