Well, Malcolm has already been established as being super hot, and is almost as much of an outsider to normal human culture as Riley. Hana already has someone crushing on her, but is also a real outsider type, so I guess if Riley's into that. Ian actually likes people, and is reasonably warm and good natured. Andrea is probably the only likeable girl on the team, and has the best of both worlds with regard to being both outside and inside the normal human societal stuff. Alex probably seems more alien than Riley half the time (with her mom? Shit, she didn't watch TV until she was like seventeen, and has never had any friends besides Andrea) and just doesn't get memes, jokes, puns, any of it. Like, she's picked up some of that from Andrea, but she herself is totally clueless, and probably prefers computers and robots to anyone besides Andrea, and occasionally Ian.
