Ling nodded "Necromancy in Xi'an is considered to be a specialization in magic, albeit one that isn't commonly chosen. But it is not looked down upon, it's just not as popular as elemental magic for obvious reasons."

Reaching into his robe Ling removed a scroll and held it out for him to take. On the scroll was the oath of Xianese scholars
