No offense, but the "Two weapon only" Rule does seem a bit odd. Especially because there are some characters here who not only have two different types of weapons, but also use magic (and also have an assortment of spells with varying effects), so it seriously limits non-magic users. And Darius doesn't really use big weapons, although I suppose if I must I could make his crossbow larger. But if my character can carry it all with him in a way that makes sense and doesn't slow him down, what is the problem? Regardless, I think I'll just get rid of his shortsword anyways, as it doesn't really fit in with how I'd like to use him in combat. The walking stick itself isn't meant to be used as a weapon, although I can see how it may be considered one - it's just meant to give him that harmless traveler look. On an unrelated side note, I'm also considering dropping his ring. It seems unnecessary and perhaps a bit overpowered, since he already has max dexterity. Maybe I'll just have it do something else? As for his sheer amount of gear... he uses his cloak to conceal it. Pull it tight around himself, keep his arms at his side, and most of his weapons go unnoticed. And if he's just doing something small like going to the market to buy bread, he'll probably leave the majority of his weapons behind. I would like to add more daggers though, because daggers are always fun, and he's also a skilled knife thrower. Two on his wrists, two at his belt, two strapped to his thighs, and two hidden inside his boot. The crossbow would go on his back. Edit: I'm also going to adjust his background to make him more of a traveler, instead of him just being some guy who has spent his entire life in three different cities.
