Not getting the reaction he had hoped for, the grin on Niko's face faded into a smaller, polite smile. He blinked at Veta's words. [color=00aeef][i]Salacious act? He thought of her as a younger sister. And then there was Princess Sinta, Vale's next Queen and wife to Alistair, crown prince of Vale. She didn't seem to mind watching with him either. Several times Alistair himself joined them. To him it was a chance to watch something beautiful with family and friends. And then earlier today with Princess Caterina. She had always been aloof to him despite the peace treaty between their countries. Now, he can confidently say that they were at least in a friendlier platform with each other. [color=00aeef][i]Hmmm... Perhaps a difference in cultures?[/i][/color] He would have spoken out loud but he chose to just let it go. He listened silently to Veta's conversation with Mai, taking note of his bethroted's dignified voice and gentle smile. He agreed with her point of views but he had to wonder if what Mai said actually offended her. 

He turned his attention to the rest of the occupants of the room. He had not been able to speak with most of them. Perhaps later, at an opportune time. He looked towards Prince Leon and Princess Sade, the newest to enter the dining hall. He smiled and greeted them politely the way he greeted the rest.
