Considering playing a nation on bad terms with many other species ever since the problems with the Golgatha, a highly technoprogressive nation, that long ago embraced cybernetics as a way of life. And are conflicted on who they should ally themselves with. The other nations probably don't like them either.

They could be an interesting Foil to the Golgotha in terms of philosophy, though I don't know the Golgathan philosophy yet
