A post apocalyptic pokemon setting. Pretty much a world ruled by team rocket but more into the mature, violent, drug scene with pit fighting and criminal activity. Why wont it work? Because so msny people have preconceived ideas for how it'll play out [I]("How many moves do we have?", "Is battle turn based?", etc.)[/I]. Players either cant let go of the game mechanic, or wanna add some random things like fakemon [I](fan created content)[/I]. The same happened with a Borderlands roleplay where players were creating state based weapons, or abilities that made no sense. I don't think it's a matter of my skill level, as I fell confident with the worlds I can design, but it's the player draw that I seem to have issues with.
