[b]History (Synopsis) -[/b] Little can be said about the history of Thoronor or his people. History is not something that the barbarians of the Dead Hand Horde specifically maintain through the stories they tell. His childhood was typical wrestling with the other children where he performed on a level of mediocrity. He learned to throw daggers and fight with sword and shield as was traditional of most members of his tribe. When he was thirteen his hand was ritualistically removed as was tradition by the axe of their tribal leader, the end burned - sown - and bandaged until it healed enough to be wrapped in leather. A shield was fashion to be inserted over the nubb and strapped to the form arm. It was at this time that he specialized in fighting with long sword and shield. 

Thoronor has survived for 27 years of life. Living in the Sundering Mountains that is quite a particular feat. The perils of the mountains claim the lives of most travelers who are inexperienced with terrain; however, the number of lives of those who live in the mountains and grow learning the ways of mountain living are still astoundingly high. On this particular day, Thoronor wanders the mountainrange looking for nothing imparticular beyond the usual sources of food, treasure, and glory.
