Great minds think alike i've heard :P

It just happens that we seem to have similar interests in that regard, which is fun.
The faction in question is my fav in that setting.

Alas, i have a map to make.
Need to figure out how to best make a dotted line without going insane.

Edit: I have now updated my character sheet with a map, some notes, and a current location text.
This will update as i make posts.

Character Sheet
Name: Sprawl Master Kel’vok
Age:312

Gender: Male
Race: Human-Mutant

Appearance:

Place of Birth: The HIVE Laboratory
Occupation:War-Master

Affiliation: The Followers of Sol

Bio: Soon after the Sharman founded the cult, his brother Kel’vok demanded that aggression be taken upon those who had caused their pain and suffering. He now leads all aggression to the outside world. However besides his rather large form, he is often able to infiltrate cities and settlements.
Other:

Faction Sheet
Faction Name: The Followers of Sol
Faction Type: Radical Mutant Cult
Capital(if applicable): The Sprawl
Holdings(if applicable): The Sprawl, the Pit of Disappear and the old HIVE Laboratory
Flag/Banner:
Leader(s): Sprawl Master Kel’vok & The Sharman

Racial Demographics and Population: All varied and horrifically mutated beasts and humans. There are a few rare cases of pure humans living among the cult, these are often used as infiltrators.
Culture and Religion: All the cult believe in the power of Sol. Sol was a failed experiment produced by the military company known as HIVE and is whispered to be one of the reasons the world fell into chaos to begin with. Sol used nanites to change the bio structure of living tissue to create stronger soldiers and alike, however after a thermonuclear EMP fried the control regulators, the nanites manipulated the living test subjects in ways never thought possible.

History: The Cult was soon founded after a large number of the now-mutants rose from the ashes of the destroyed HIVE lab. They were led by a man only known as The Shaman who founded the faith that they were the next step in human evolution and that nanites were the gateway to accession.

Military: FoS have a wide range of weapons, both conventional and other wise. They often prefer the use of sabotage where one would infiltrate a city or settlement and pollute the water supply with nanites to begin their transformation.
Other: FoS are constantly trying to improve their nano-tech.

Style of Mutants:

@Darkspleen So spleen I have decided on my three members of EMBER, and they will be introduced via IC. They're kind of interesting I think. Also, I was thinking on which faction of the co-elite squad the leader would belong to.

At first, I imagined the Cybran's would want a member who's brain was augmented toward pragmatism and quick thinking. Of corse on a squad with none aug members an individual who was mostly natural would provide a more 'human' touch that was both familiar and relatable. I even entertained that the leader might be a different individual from each organization each major mission. However, that would reek havoc regarding unit cohesion since its always easier to follow the orders of someone you trust and respect which are both things earned through time.

So the most logical alternative the Iron Council would come too would have it be a member of the Lib who was a follower of The Way. Which would make for a good middle ground, and it's not like every follower is bionic'd up to the gills after all. You have to be fairly deep in the order before you get your first augment anyway. It helps The Way is very similar to the goals of the Lib anyway, I would not be surprised if a few followed it.

I put this here mostly so I would not forget it and so it was not buried in the chat. :K

Let me know what you think.

Since my guess most of ya are US peeps?

I've been wrong before though.

I'll take another peek in the chat.

Meh, I work the night shift. So I end up being on there on all kinds of weird hours. Just today I'm busy with stuff.

Edit: Btw the chatroom is paid for so just about anyone can look through the history of chat.

@Klomster You mean Orglas or Yandras? :P

For both, we're not quite done with our sheets just yet. But of course we can still post in the IC while we work on the sheets.

Another good post from Monkey Spleen. Though the only thing I wonder about is-- how did they know the corpses were raiders?

Probably moused their crosshairs over the bodies and the word "Raider" appeared in bold letters in the favorite color of their choosing. :P

That's discrimination, and you know it! Don't let me call the SJW on you! Snowflakes! Snowflakes where you at!

Though I kind of imagined most bandits being more techno-barbarians than what would pop up from a 21st-century post-apocalypse world. Though that does give me a wicked idea for a NPC raider faction. I shall add it to the pile!
