Only the angle would be a little sharper. This was also the beginning angle of attack, with the blade being dropped more than swung. Less power, but no pullback.

Auzs tactic was timed perfectly, however Xavier had the counter measure on hand already. Xaviers blade sliced through only air as Auz maneuvered, his blade pointed directly at Xavier. But there was something new about it... something.. [i]more[/i]. It wasnt until the last possible moment that Xavier realized that Auz was striking faster than before. In an instant his free left hand darted forward into the blades path. A faint, fleshy squish echoed through the air as Xaviers left hand clamped over the tip of Auzs sword. Dark red blood beginning to ooze out.

The blade in Xaviers hand finished the majority of its arc now just as he grabbed hold of Auzs. Xavier twisted his right wrist, redirecting the razor edge of his own blade to point at Auz again. With his left foot Xavier quickly punted the blade, sending it sailing back along its first course. Only from hip to neck now.
