Earth is gone... I am in a party of dramatic fools that I don't like. Re-population? Not really possible with two dudes (really one dude) and three girls. 

Best case scenario... the aliens say "I guess you aren't traitors after all, you are free to go die on some planet somewhere." And Echo spends the rest of her life  tending the eternal squabbles of the group and tending babies (that she doesn't want to have.)
