- Born and grew up in South Side, Chicago, Illinois.

- Spent a lot of time with her cousins Derek, Sarah and Desiree Morgan when their mother went to work and grew extremely close though Derek was her favorite.

- At the age of ten, Cindi's father (Paul) died of a drug overdose.

- The cousins began to drift apart as they grew up, but Cindi and Derek kept in close touch.

- At the age of eighteen, Cindi learned that someone had been stalking her and became so severe that Cindi had her cousin, Morgan, create a profile of the stalker and track him down. Derek advised that Cindi leave Chicago and move to Charleston, South Carolina.

- Despite Derek's efforts, Cindi was abducted there in Charleston by her stalker, Malcolm, where she was abused sexually and psychologically, making her believe that "The Company" would kill her and her family if she ever disobeyed him.

- During her time under abduction, Cindi was forced to sign a slave contract and submit to the abuse. For reasons unknown to her, she never became pregnant and assumed that she is unable to have children.

- Cindi remained missing for seven years.

- After seven years (Cindi now twenty-five), her mother, Yvonne, clued Derek into a case where bodies were discovered buried in the ocean floor off of the coast in Jacksonville, Florida, believing that Cindi was one of the victims.

- Although Cindi was not among the dead bodies, the case inadvertently led Derek to a leader of the human trafficking ring where he shot and killed him, and was able to find and save his cousin.

- Cindi has taken two years of psychological therapy to overcome the traumas she has undergone but has since gotten a good hold on her life and for the most part keeps a positive outlook on life, blaming no one for her mishap in life.

- During those two years, Cindi had been living with her cousin, Derek, to help with costs and to have a better sense of 'security' whenever he is around.

- Now twenty-seven, Cindi has a good job as a veterinarian (taking night classes to become a school teacher) and has recently moved out of Derek's apartment and into her boyfriends' of a couple months' apartment.

- Derek has met the new boyfriend a handful of times and has expressed to Cindi on multiple occasions that he doesn't trust him and has asked her to move back in with him, however Cindi refuses because she doesn't want to burden Derek any longer and won't give in no matter what Derek says.

- Short of a week ago, Cindi showed back up on Derek's doorstep with a split lip and a black eye. She only plans to stay with Derek until she and her boyfriend smooth things out and is hopeful that he will turn things around and has taken some time off of work to help work on their relationship in a healthy way.
