Back at the cafeteria, both Jason and Serah were seated at a table that made them face each other. Serah had won the race and dragged the odler boy over to buy some pastries, but she didn't look like she was enjoying any of it. The fork in the girl's hand shook as she kept prodding the pie on her plate. Her face had lit up as red as a tomato, almost as if she suffered from an allergy. Jason, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind one bit. If he wasn't busy eating, there'd be a smug smile plastered all across his face. Jason was continuing the conversation they had earlier about a Framewerk's circuit, before he interrupted himself to look at the cafeteria's door swinging open.

Serah looked up as well, seeing Mai stumble through while leaning on a boy she didn't recognize. Though still flustered, a sense of worry rapidly crept up in Serah's chest. She shot up from her chair, quickly muttered [color=00aeef]"Excuse me,"[/color] and ran over to Mai. 

[color=00aeef]"Maaaai! Ohmygosh, what are you doing?! You shouldn't be moving! Oh, dear mercy..."[/color] Serah's cheeks were still a bit red as she stood there, in front of Mai. She wanted to throw the girl's arm over her shoulder and lead her into a chair, but that boy worried Serah. She doesn't know how he'll react when she tries to help the poor girl out.

Serah glanced down to her left, seeing a table with an unoccupied chair. She pulled it back, then snuck underneath Mai's elbow to guide her to sit down, whether she wants to or not. Once Mai sat down, Serah looked up to Jake. She was struggling between letting the anger she felt show and putting up her happy smile, so her face was pretty tense. [color=00aeef]"W-What's going on? Mai should be resting up, not... not walking around like... she shouldn't..."[/color]

Serah relaxed, breathing a little deeper and snapping out of her little panic. The boy led her to the cafeteria, so they probably were intent on getting some food. Serah leaned back on the table she took the chair from, looking back at Jake. [color=00aeef]"Hey, uhm... could you go and get something for her? I... I need a bit of time with Mai."[/color]
