No problemo. I'd like to ask you to stick around for just a little bit longer if you're concerned about a lack of focus on the 'superhero' part of the school, because the next part will be all about quirks and powers.
Don't worry -- I'm not judging my status with this role-play squarely on that one element. I figured this might all be just building relationships between the cast for the time being, and I'd have no problem getting involved with that part too if I joined. I've taken such a liking to this character I've created (they ended up becoming a revision/rebuild of an old character of mine from way back when, plus they took some elements from my main story project like all of my characters/concepts/et cetera usually do) that I plan on building my own plot around him whether I take part in this role-play or not. This has actually ended up happening with the two other character sheets I've had accepted on this site thus far. With that said, I could still get involved in this but as it stands I don't know if I could tonne down this power anymore than I have without it being a little dull for me. I suppose this'll only become a factor in discussion once I finish off the character sheet (been rather overworked on my end too, so I'm still missing the 'Personality' and 'Background' sections despite the rest being done) and show it to you. I'm the type of person who believes concepts like 'broken' or 'overpowered' are subjective -- I don't believe there's such a thing as a universally 'god-mode' character, so my concerns are more to do with not wanting my character to be too excessive for the role-play in question, not a concern with the character himself. Nevertheless, I definitely worked hard to make the character considerably less powerful than those I work with in my main project, but it might still be a bit overkill for this setting depending on how much I let him tap into his potential (I put a limitation on him), though I did completely omit a certain (spoiler) element of his abilities that would only be relevant in a setting built around him that I made for my own role-play -- that would go into far more powerful territory. Minor question... Where exactly is this plot set? Is it in Japan, America, or some fictional location? I found myself hitting a stop when I got to working out his place of birth for this particular setting. Anyway, I'm more concerned about my workload making it difficult to manage too many role-plays (even one of them can be a problem with the state of my project), and considering how well-paced you guys are I wouldn't want to slow this down. There's also the whole matter of my fiancé possibly wanting to join in - if I do stay - but potentially not being able to get the character sheet ready in time. Edit: Multitasking, so rushed my reply initially. I've added some more to it in the last few minutes.
