Hmm, I'm not sure about to whole "blessing/enhancing weapons" things, as cool as it might be. Can we forge the weapons into something stronger? Sure, but I don't like the idea of putting blesings on them. 

I think the healing powers would be good, but limited to some degree. 

As for the light, I think it would be good for distracting the Mutations, but the Mutations themselves aren't very "dark elemental" kinds of beast. I tried to make them just fusions of humans that were melted/stitched together oddly and horrifyingly.
